Disabling the ability for users to download documents from OneDrive Web App on personal devices, but allow them to edit in office online?

There are two parts to this question.

1. I have successfully blocked the ability to sync onedrive on a unmanaged device.. now what I want to do is disable the ability for users to go home and use their personal machines and downloading documents straight from the onedrive online interface.. however, I would still like to give them the ability to open/edit these documents in office online.

2. Secondly, Id like to me it so external users can’t download the documents that are shared with them, only have the ability to edit/view in office online.. it appears you can manually block the downloads of documents right from within the onedrive online GUI however its a manual process which relys on the user doing this; also it doesn’t work exactly as I vision as to allow the blocking of downloading you have to disable the ability to edit (see pic)

Any ideas you can bounce around with me is much appreciated.

Super late here… might be wrong but wouldn’t conditional access help. PC must meet a minimum standard… like an enrolled InTune device? (Going to bed now)

I’m curious how you managed to achieve blocking sync to unmanaged devices? Did this require a conditional access policy which would require azure AD premium?
